At Silver Mermaid Jewelry all pieces are hand made by Jane McGrade with love. Only quality products are used in Silver Mermaid Jewelry designs. The shells and sea glass have been found at beaches in Florida, New Hampshire, Maine, Hawaii, Washington, and The British Isles and are chosen for their unique colors and designs. The sterling silver and gold filled wire used does not contain nickel and the gemstones and pearls are carefully chosen so you can enjoy wearing your jewelry for many years.
Some of the silver pieces are labeled pure silver instead of sterling silver. Pure silver is 99% pure silver, whereas, sterling silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. A pure silver piece is made from PMC, a precious metal clay that is a combination of silver and binder in clay form. The clay is shaped and molded, fired in a kiln where the binder burns off leaving pure silver. Each piece is hand sanded and hand polished until it has a soft feel and shine.

All payments go through Paypal because it is a secure and safe site. Once you are on the Paypal site you have your choice of paying with Paypal or a credit card.
SHIPPING:
Every item in your order is packed with love and will arrive in a gift box tied with a lovely ribbon. A card from Silver Mermaid Jewelry.com will be included with a description of your unique piece of jewelry. Orders are mailed out by U.S.P.S. First Class Mail within 24-48 hours of receiving payment with PayPal. Depending on the item purchased it will be shipped boxed or in a padded envelope. If you prefer another method of shipping please let me know.
RETURNS:
We want you to love your SilverMermaidJewelry.com purchases but, if you find the item is not what you expected from the pictures or description contact me within 7 days of receiving it for a full refund. If the item is damaged during shipping I will refund your payment. Since the items are one of a kind I regret I will not be able to replace it, but in some instances may be able to replace it with something that closely resembles the damaged piece.
